IRL, Champ Car resume unification talks

After 12 years of rivalry which confused fans, promoted apathy and nearly buried open-wheel racing, the Champ Car World Series has accepted an agreement to cease operations, giving the surviving Indy Racing League the opportunity to rebuild the sport's lost prestige.
